• Healthy Coat Dog
  Provet's Healthy Coat Dog contains a specially formulated mixture of nutrients known to be important for skin and coat health and function , including:
  • Essential amino-acids (with sulphur-containing amino-acids that are high in concentration in hair)
  • The essential minerals copper, zinc, iodine and selenium
  • The essential vitamins A, B complex and E
  • Omega 6 essential fatty acids which are important for the maintenance of both healthy skin and hair coat
  • Omega 3 fatty acids (including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)) that are thought to be beneficial in the dietary support of skin function by maintaining immune function and having an anti-inflammatory effect locally.
  
• Healthy Heart Dog
  Provet's Healthy Heart Dog contains a mixture of nutrients known to be important for cardiac health and function including:
  • Essential amino acids
  • Essential minerals zinc and copper
  • Essential vitamins A, B complex and E
  
  In addition, Healthy Heart Dog contains:
  • L-carnitine which is an amine that is an important component of heart muscle where it helps in the process of energy production from fatty acids, so that the muscle cells can contract and do their job properly
  • The Beta-amino-acid Taurine which has been shown to be an important component of heart muscle and necessary to ensure normal heart function
  • Omega 3 fatty acids (including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)) which have been shown to be stored in the heart where they may support normal electrical activity of cardiac cells and so assist in maintaining normal heart rhythm.
  
• Joint Care Dog
  Provet's Healthy Joint Care Dog contains a mixture of nutrients known to be important for joint health and function including:
  • Glucosamine which is a precursor of an important component of weight bearing cartilage in joints called glycosaminoglycans
  • Chondroitin sulphate which is an important structural component of joint cartilage
  • Omega 3 fatty acids (including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)) which can inhibit the effects of enzymes found in joints (called matrix metalloproteinases) which can damage articular cartilage and protein structures
  • Essential minerals calcium, and phosphorus
  • Vitamins A and D
